Fibroids After Menopause Bleeding/Period Nearly 5 Years After Menopause. Abnormal?

Bleeding/Period nearly 5 years after menopause. Abnormal? - fibroids after menopause

My mother has just started bleeding not a period of almost 5 years. There were irregular bleeding (perimenopausal) for two or three years after their last period in December 2003. She is 57 years. Yesterday he started what looks like a normal period. It is not established, it is quite difficult as you have your period before the menopause. He also said that he began to premenstrual symptoms such as swollen breasts and bloating for a few days before the massacre.

She thinks it is normal, and said that unless she took evening primrose oil capsules recently.

I am not at all normal, and I am very worried. She never had fibroids, but her two sisters older than herself, and it does not really have a good gynecological (sp?) EXam years, not since the cessation of menstruation. I think I should go to the doctor, but she heard nothing about it.

If one had a similar experience? What is fever? Any advice is appreciated, I am very worried!

Here is a simple and important answer to a question is long. Bleeding after menopause should be investigated to serious causes, including tumors excluded. The sooner you tell your doctor and have a Pap test, review and possible referral for the best.

You should take your mother to see as soon as possible, gynecology bleeding after menopause is often an indication that something is wrong. If you have fibroids, there is nothing to fear, because they are usually benign. We must continue to try to smear regularly to convince are not the horrible things that will be used, does not scratch the neck with a stick is now a small broom and you feel nothing. Good Luck

I had the same problem, and I went to the doctor, I was sent to hospital, where he finds a small publishing house. that was obvious. I would say that he saw his work only as a precautionary measure and set reassured
Good luck
