Simple? A toast, chips of wood, a collection tray, a grill and a lid. and no holes where the smoke could escape

Smokers need oxygen, which means that the hole. The fire must be O2, and the smoke you need to escape for a little smoke from the food.

I do not even try if you have an exhaust fan seriously well off at home than on the outside of openings (not) on the microwave and even in the kitchen.
